For the Love of Plastic
Personal
2024
This zine dives into consumerism and our love-hate relationship with plastic, inspired by Radiohead’s Fake Plastic Trees. Edited video stills mimic aged, layered plastic waste, with yellow tints and flipped borders to show the endless cycle of disposables. Housed in a CD case, it also features text from a HuffPost interview on how post-war ads got us hooked on single-use plastics.

Akan Brewing Co.
Studio 318 India
2022 - 2023
Akan is a brewery in Hyderabad with a Meso-American/Mayan theme. The project involved creating a custom system of symbols inspired by actual hieroglyphics — a challenging process that required extensive research into how the Mayans used symbols to form words and sentences.

The final set of hieroglyphs was designed to merge seamlessly, carrying the brand’s meaning: being in the presence of, or indulging under, Akan — the lord of intoxication.

Over Protection
Personal
2024
This project explores tsundoku, the Japanese term for buying books and letting them pile up unread, often in an effort not to ‘spoil’ them. It questions the impulse to protect objects we never use, asking: Did I spoil it while trying to protect it?

The book’s text plays with this tension, blurring the line between preservation and damage, beauty and neglect.

Baanali
Yellow Mushrooms
2021 - 2022
Baanali is a South Indian food start-up serving authentic Andhra delicacies, rooted in recipes passed down through generations. The brands name was derived from the Telugu word for a traditional frying pan, grounding it firmly in its regional heritage.

Designing the identity meant exploring the Telugu script, balancing legibility with experimentation, and incorporating textures inspired by aged cookware. The final visual identity captures the brand’s rustic warmth and its deep connection to tradition.

Fu*k off Stamps
Personal
2024
This project explored type as a visual element rather than something purely legible. Inspired by container technologies and stencils; their history and uses. It focuses on the idea that it’s not what you say, but how you say it.

What is Happening?
Personal
2024

This project explores what’s happening in the world on both micro and macro levels. Prompt sheets were passed around, and the collected responses were collaged into a poster to capture the thoughts and emotions of surrounding communities.

Glyphs / Lorem Ipsum
Personal
2024

Glyphs began as a typography exercise using type as a visual unit to form objects, faces, and scenes; a play on pareidolia that later evolved into an alternative puzzle for creating art.

The series experiments with fonts, negative space, and unconventional compositions to tell unique visual stories. Each piece embraces imperfection and the expressive power of typography, turning glyphs into standalone works of art.
